Thread updated, and a new rule.
I'll run the contest for a few more days, after that we'll probably choose either 5 or 11. You guys can choose (personally I'd prefer 11 but it doesn't matter). _________________ http://claw.ben-ts.net -- The Belated Claw Fansite

Yeah, I wonder why V.N., Treasurer and The Gunner haven't entered the contest yet. Does it have something to do with rule 6? |

Sorry, I just have too little free time. And when I have some, I devote it to editing my next level, for I'm creating it for 4,5 months already, and the major part is still left to make.
And besides, I always hated missions with time in all games. I entered the contest on Level 1 just to give it a try and because it's short and easy enough to try it again and again.
Sorry again. |

There there... No need for alarm.
I've haven't been playing Claw so much these days, bacause I'd focus on some other games which I haven't played for long. Then like Treasure, time is something I've got less of, (mostly because of the prison) so I'd probably first enter the contest on the next level.
(Which I hope will be level 5.. I am a mess at level 11 ) _________________ PROKOFIEV IS HOT! <3 |

Well, I think it's time to end the current contest. Let me begin the new one. Since you don't mind it, we'll compete on level 11 first. Here's the screenshot:

- MSI 6380E mainboard (based on the VIA KT333 chipset)
- Athlon XP 2000+
- 512 MB of RAM (DDR-266)
- GeForce 4 Ti 4200 graphic card (with 128 MB of video memory)
- 80 GB hard drive (Seagate Barracuda IV)
BTW, I've got a question. When, by any chance, will you be able to send me the new level of yours? |

Is there any interest in making this an "open" contest, where people can enter times for ANY level? I could put a scoreboard on my site with all the times for each level, and it would probably increase activity if people could play on any level they want. _________________ http://claw.ben-ts.net -- The Belated Claw Fansite

This kind of reminds me of that video in which someone plays Super Mario 3 (SN) and finishes it all within 11 minutes.
Just a thought, make a speed run for fastest time in finishing the game. _________________ http://www.geocities.com/captainclawslair

That's just what we are doing. We have only 11 levels to go. After that, all we need to do is to sum up the times. |

Nuu! Not like that. As in, create a new player, and try to make a fastest finishing game time.
But I guess summing it up works too.
This kinda makes me think about making a racing cource level. Enemies as obstacles and such, secret shortcuts... Could be interesting. Of course, all treasures on track so you can still get a perfect score while making the fastest time. Catnips to speed up etc.... _________________ http://www.geocities.com/captainclawslair

The entire game of Quake (about 35 levels I think) can be finished on Nitemare difficulty in 12:57.

When you finish a level and start a new one the time resets at 0. _________________ http://claw.ben-ts.net -- The Belated Claw Fansite
