Can anyone teach me how to use the AniCycle logic!?

I'm trying to make a bunch of Claw AniCycles using his .ANI files.

How do I do that?

AniCycle is used for moving eye candy, I don't think the Claw sprites can be used with it, in any level.

That's right. AniCycle is just a generic animated eye candy logic. It's kind of like the animated equivalent of DoNothing.

The only way to get Claw sprites from the game is to do it the slow and painful way (taking a screenshot, cropping out Claw in MS Paint, saving it as a separate image, and then repeating a million times until you have all the sprites you need.)

[Edit -- Typo]

I just use a screen capturing program.

Only problem is when I try getting sprites of claw getting hit or hurt, there are some "extra" like the bomb exploding animation, and all that. Confused

Wish we can find some ways to open the PID and ANI files.

I never really understood the difference between BehindAniCandy, FrontAniCandy, and Anycycle, other than that it's easier to keep specific set Z-coords seperated.

It was probably for the benefit of Claw newbies who don't understand what the Z-coord is.

Make the enemy invisible. Very Happy
