Hey my name is Kasper

I'm from Denmark and I'm 14 years old .. I remember once I was 4-5 years old my father bought Claw to me .. I was so happy with the game and played it in 2-3 years .. of course I got through all the levels and got really skilled (but not as much as you guys I think) .. but suddenly a few years ago when I haven't played the game in about 5 years I thought to give the old game a try .. it didn't work and my cd is all around crashed .. but I REALLY miss that game and I've been looking around the net for salers and free downloads in 2 weeks .. but the salers were really expensive (50 dollars + 16 dollar shipping for the cheapest) and the free downloads had virus .. then I thought that some hardcore Claw-players maybe could help me ;D

do you know how I can get Claw? (I would like in english language)

PS: I've tried both English and Polish versions og Claw Demo, Claw Rip and the Crack version .. at Demo and RIP it says at 98% loaded that there is an error and I need direct-X .. I've tried to get any direct-X but it says "we're sorry and then bla bla bla" .. at the Crack version it works but when I click at the Claw logo it gets in .. and just when it gets in it goes out again and says there is an error

What version of Windows are you running? Claw doesn't require anything newer than DirectX 5.0, and even the aged Windows 98 has that installed out of the box. Are you sure that it is only Claw that you're having problems with and your other games are working fine?

I'm having Windows XP if that is what you mean ??

Of other games I've only got Counter Strike, Age of Mythology, E-Jay, Zoo Tycoon and Pro Cycling Manager and they all work fine ..

In the rip version, there's a CLAWADV.EXE program in your Claw installation directory. It can be used to change some advanced settings of the game. Find the 'Disable direct video access' and 'Enable DirectDraw emulation' options and turn them on. See if that helps.

I'll try that know but I'm not that of a computer genious so I'll maybe do it wrong .. but I'll try ... and A LOT of thanks from me for helping a noob like me he he Very Happy

I can't find where to change the settings and that stuff ? When I try downloading RIP it goes like this:

1. It asks me to "open" or "save" the file. I try and save and the file/document-map gets on my Homescreen (the start desktop) called "Claw_rip"

2. In the map there are two things - one document where the registration code is written and the other is a setup to install the game

3. I copy the registration code and click on setup

4. It asks me to "out-pack" some other needed ZIP-documents and I accept

5. There comes another document-map exactly as the first one with a document with the registration code and a setup map. The only difference is that the logo on the Setup now is a computer and not just a white thing

6. I use the new Setup and it starts installing the game. At 98% it says that there is a mistake

sorry i'm a real big problem i really appreciate your help
