U can defeat Gabriel without hitting the switch.. Twisted Evil

Use the warp available sometime before, get the catnip and exit through the exit warp on the right.Rush to gabriel,jump up pick him and chuck him!!

It's amazing how many loopholes like that Claw has. Even the fact that you can get a higher than maximum score on some levels is pretty weird.

Yes, it is indeed. And it's even weirder that when you collect more than the maximum, then at the end of the level you see the maximum number of treasures increased to the number you collected. It seems like the developers foresaw or even knew that such trick is possible sometimes.
