you seriously of some evil very very evil.
Btw who is this person you? |
No, not me. I don't need to show off with lies to be cool, I'm already cool the way I am.
Treasurer > Actually I agree with Teo Phil having more Magicclaws gives an unfair advantage, since it helps conciderably in ridding the path of enemies. Others would have to jump and kill them since they dont have as much magicclaws. _________________ http://www.geocities.com/captainclawslair

You're saying 'others' in such a way as if they had no possibility to get those MagicClaws. But they can also get and use them. When the rights are equal and no rules are broken, the advantage is fair.
But again, I can also agree with Teo phil if there's such a rule I've said about. |

| I've always thought there had been a rule like that. However, I'm not the one who is hosting the contest. You'd better ask Grey Cat. |

Yes, we'll have to wait for him indeed.
That rule didn't even come to my mind. Though it's also logical, I'd admit. |

Yes, Teo phil is right, you're not allowed to load from saved games. Sorry about the confusion, I've edited to rules to be more clear.
Treasurer: all players *do* have equal rights, like you said, but the whole idea is that we're racing on one level. Having players collect masses of magic claws and treasure from previous levels adds a whole new level of complexity, confusion, etc as so much will be dependant on how well you did on previous levels.
There's no proof that Claw-er is cheating, but personally I find the circumstances a bit suspicious. He posts a score that's a full eight seconds in the lead, with no lives and barely any treasure (about 10 geckos worth, I personally do not believe that it is possible to avoid getting that much playing both lvl 10 & 11). Then he posts a score that's actually two seconds slower than his previous, with six lives.
Claw-er, could you please email me your .USR file? I'd like to have a look at it. _________________ http://claw.ben-ts.net -- The Belated Claw Fansite

Hey Grey Cat, I've seen your site recently, and I liked it. Especially "Contest" box. I'd like to ask you for sth? May I set my own records in every level, I mean I want to try every level, not only that, which is said to being in contest, I thought about it, when I saw that tables with places from 1-5, and I noticed there are severl of them, not only from Laroca, Foothpath and Caverns. I know my English is the worst here, but I hope you'll understand me _________________ In malayalam - Ngan ninne snaehikkunnu ;*

Yeah, you can. The contest is now taking place on every level. It was said in this thread already. I'm also pretty sure that I mentioned it on your forum as well.
P.S. (to Grey Cat)
What happened to the results for level 3? And congratulations on passing level 11 in 2:32. But where is teh screenshot? |

Sorry, the speed runs page is still under construction. As for my lvl 11 time, I got that using CPUkill so it probably shouldn't count. :S
2:32
Here's my best "legal" time.
2:38
In the next few days I'll fully complete the page and add everyone's times. Notice that there are no screenshots on the page, this is because I didn't feel like uploaded 20+ screenshots. Most of the times have screenshots which are available on demand.
Has anyone else from zuczek's forum entered? _________________ http://claw.ben-ts.net -- The Belated Claw Fansite

Mrpoog, your avatar is too big. Please resize it or change it to a smaller one. Secondly, it'd be much better to use an existing account rather that register for the fourth time. |

I was daring and did some speed runs on the later levels (10, 13, 14).
Level 10: 3:11
Level 13: 4:39
Level 14: 4:48
I also did something like a 15 minute speed run on Blackout. _________________ http://claw.ben-ts.net -- The Belated Claw Fansite
