Which part or area of Claw do you find to be the biggest pain to get past? Right now for me it's Tiger Island, the sequence of disappearing blocks soon after save point one. My other is the blocks in the Caverns after save point 2. _________________ Looking for answers? Don't look at me. I ain't got em! |

Probably the part you mentioned on level 13. It sucks. _________________ http://claw.ben-ts.net -- The Belated Claw Fansite

That area sucks too but it's not as bad as the one I described. (To me at least) I've made my way through most of the temple now. I found that awesome warp that gave me back the two lives that Red Tail beat out of me. _________________ Looking for answers? Don't look at me. I ain't got em! |

Level 1. The front tiles you can chose to have or not
Level 2. The rats and their cannons
Level 3. I kind of like that level, can't find any pain to it
Level 4. Where you have to jump from one plant to another
Level 5. The birds
Level 6. The green mess and the sewer
The biggest pain in Claw is without any doubt level 7. It's not difficult, it's just dark and filled with stupid crabs and stupid elevators
Level 8. Where you have to jump from one of those tree-things you can stand on to another.
Level 9. The turning things you can't stand on without moving
Level 10. The arrows that come out of the walls
Level 11. Almost everything I hate. Dissapearing blocks, lightening things that slow you down enemies that slow you down or even worse kill you.
Level 12. There where you have to jump on the blocks that dissapear and never come back and it all shivers a lot of times and you get hit by those pointing things
Level 13. It's my favourite but there are some dissapering blocks and some arrows.
14. Those hands that throw lava on you. _________________ PROKOFIEV IS HOT! <3 |

I'm actually really beginning to hate anything after level 14 save point 2. _________________ Looking for answers? Don't look at me. I ain't got em! |

Ironicly I love level 11 and 12 But it's mainly the theme. _________________ http://www.geocities.com/captainclawslair

I remember when I was playing "Claw" roughly 10 years ago, there were lots of things which caused me trouble. But the saddest places were exactly the ones mentioned by Jersey and also defeating Omar (which I couldn't complete without cheating). I also have some vague memories about having a major difficulty with the whole Level 9 (I can't remember the details) and being very happy having completed it.
And when I was passing the game a couple of years ago, all the old difficulties seemed at most well-challenging. As I set the objective of collecting all the treasure, the nastiest places were the one in Level 5 where guards are standing at suspended BreakPlanks with treasure springing out in the most undesired directions and the secret area in Level 10 (I believe it's between SP1 and SP2) where one needs to collect a curve-shaped string of treasure in one fall. A number of places with Stalactites in Level 12 were really bad too: they always tend to break Claw's jumps.
My objective also "made" me pass from Start right to SP2 without a break in some levels (I think those were 7, 13, and 14).
There was a time... |

Yeah, that sucks in those level that you need to use catnip, which is before sp1 to collect anything after sp1.
As for level 9 I remember that i had no serious problems and passed it in 2-3 days. _________________ In malayalam - Ngan ninne snaehikkunnu ;*

The hardest thing to find was the missing coin in Level 7 (I didn't know about the walkthroughs at that time).
Why did they make it, I wonder? |

that bloody coin in level 2 after SP2 which is allmost imposible to get.
and getting all of the treasure in level 10 from SP1-SP2 took me a whole 3 days...
and that part in level 13 withe the arrows coming down and up and you need to jump to the middle of the pool and onwards while escaping them...
i could really murder that part...
level 14 is also very difficult but its the last level(for ever with this monolith company)so ill give that level a break {: |
